FAQ

  • When is the next Human Chain?

    Content goes here ..

  • What does your charity do to protect the oceans?

At the Human Chain we amplify a community of voices concerned about the current state of our coastlines. We are here to send one united statement that ocean disrespect in all its forms will not be tolerated. We stand together each year in peaceful protest, joining hands with likeminded ocean advocates in a mission to protect our ocean welfare and inspire other to do the same. After every Human Chain we scour the beach for marine debris and plastic pollution that is all too often found on British shores.

  • What is a Human Chain?

A peaceful protest where environmental advocates join hands to create a chain as a symbol of dedication to their cause. We join hands for our oceans and coastal environments that are consistently polluted by organisations and governments that prioritise profit over planet.

  • What do we do with the media footage?

The media footage is key to the impact of our events. Using our videography and photos we approach local MP’s seeking greater environmental protection, we are featured in local press such as Cornwall Live which amplifies our message for the ocean and we implore supermarkets, fishing companies and water-companies to better regulate their impact on marine ecosystems.

  • How can I get involved or volunteer?
